I will try to talk less about geographical position and statistics and survey the mood of trip.
iran is the country of different climates and for the reason that trveling to khouzestan is difficult in summer ,going to kordestan in winter is difficult too.
although guilan has a mild weather and in all seasons.
can be appropriate host for everyone but i recommend that before your trip’s planning, search about the -climate’s condition .
you should know, in summer with temperature 30 to 40 degree and humidity between80- 90 percent, when you are swiming in the sea, at the –
same time you can have cold and pleasure experience in summer-quarter of talesh and masal next to the fire-wood heater.
here the rain smell of its own and the dance of grass remains by the melody of that. walking in rainfall is the dream that nothing match with it.
Checking routes:
if you travel to guilan by public transportation like bus or airplane, so you have specified routes but if you travel by your own car it is better to check the routs to guilan and according to your destination, choose the best and the most beautiful way.
for instance, check several general routes:
۱) if you travel to guilan from tehran, esfahan, qom and southern states, the best way is the highway of tehran- Qazvin to rasht.

from the tourist and historical sites of this way to rasht can point to:
marlik ancient hill, dorfak cave, views around sepidroud dam, adobe bridge of lushan, cedar millennium of harzvil and chandelier lily of damash.
۲) if travel to guilan from western states like eastern and western azerbaijan, select this ways:
- A) from ardebil to astara and rasht.
- B) from khalkhal to asalem then rasht.
the attractive areas of this route are:
salsal historical castle, agheuler historical palace, tomb of sharafshah, palace of sardar asa’ad, masal’s summer- Quarter, white mosque, brick bridge of poonel, the ruins Of haft-daghnan, ebrahim’s shrine, esteel marsh, cactus musume, col of heyran, lavandevil and visadar waterfall.
۳)if you travel from the sothwest states of guilan(west of country) as zanjan, hamedan, kermanshah and etc you can join to qazvin’s highway from zanjan then arrive to guilan.
according to map you can go from zanjan to roudbar too.
the tourist’s sights of this is like the rout qazvin-rasht as i mentioned before.
۴) if you are leaving eastern states as khorasan, semnan and mazandaran to guilan:
- A) tehran-firouzkooh-ghaemshahr, then guilan.
- B) tehran-karaj-chalus and next guilan.
- c) tehran-damavand-amol and so guilan.
- D) Gorgan-sari-chalus and finally guilan.
the tourist attractions of this way in guilan are: tomb of Dr. Mohammad. Moien, holy shrine of seyyed jalal-al-din-ahraf, tamyjanef historical bridge, sajiran waterfall, monument of amir-bande ,dome of pir-mahaleh, sheykh-zahed’s monument, telecabin, monajem-bashi’s home.
